Ahmed Hassanein
He
is in level five Nobles international school, Jeddah, K.S.A. He was born in
Taif, K.S.A. (he is an Egyptian nationality) at May, 1998. His hobbies are
writing stories, reading, and drawing. He likes to go clubs and play with his friends.
This is his first story. He hopes this story amaze people.

Building
the Past
In the
early morning, there was a farmer called John. John is tall, has black, short
hair, brown eyes, and pail skin. John is clever, fair, tidy, neat, and has many
hobbies such as sports and drawing. John is humble and always takes notes. He
is popular in the farm, he likes people, and people like him. His house is two floors.
The first floor contains the kitchen and living room. The second floor contains
the bathroom and the bedroom. John got a very big farm. He was 70KM from the
city center to buy his food and seeds for the farm.
One day, he thought, “I want to go to the city faster.” That
day he dreamed that he is an inventor. He started designing a vehicle. He drew
an attractive design. After he built it, he put the last touches on it,
suddenly the vehicle broke down. He tried 5 times then gave up. It was midnight
so he went to sleep.
The next day, he tried to design another
vehicle, but he couldn’t find an idea. Suddenly, an idea came to his mind.
After he finished designing, he made some calls with a motorcycle company.
After he closed the phone, he sat thinking because he didn’t want to fail.
He didn’t know what to do the rest of the day, but he was
nervous about failing. He thought that maybe a little sleep could make him
better. When he went to bed, a nightmare came to him. He went and ate something
then went to sleep.

The next day, he called the motorcycle
company to give him the motorcycle the next day. After that he went to the
city. He brought his food, seeds and colored sprays. When he came back, he
stored everything, except the sprays. He cleaned the barn and brought a cat to
catch all the mice in the barn, to make the barn ready for an invention. John
put the sprays in a secret place. It was ten o’clock so he went to sleep
because he had a big day tomorrow.
Imaging the Past
John dreamed, “That he became a small boy going to
school. The school is big and made of four storeys. The school is like a mall.
The school is called Noble’s school. The arts, science and math are his
favorite subjects.

He always tells his teachers that when he
grows he wants to be an inventor. The teachers started to encourage him to be
an inventor. He started to learn more and more to be an inventor.
Five years later, he went to an engineering
college. The college has parts, from these parts the boys and girls section.
The college has huge storeys.
He started to invent unusual things and he
got an A+ on everything he made, even a small hand watch. He started to know
how to make structures with iron or wood or even with clay. He knew how to
measure, multiply, divide, add, and subtract by mental math. He also knew about
kinds of metals and their boiling point. Each student in his class thought that
he is a genius.

One day, Peter, one of the students in
college, came to John. So John said, “Hey, how are you man? Do you want
anything?” Peter said, “I came with a time challenge: we’ll make a wooden clock
and see who is faster!” John accepted the challenge, but under one condition if
somebody loses the other can’t tease him.

The next day, they met and brought a
clock for the time. Peter said, “3, 2, 1 and start!” The two students tried to
race the time. After 45 minutes, John finished and said, “Stop, Stop, Stop!”
Peter stopped and said, “What do you want John? I am almost finished.” John
said, “I finished, but I didn’t forget our condition.” Peter smiled for
fairness. Then, Peter went outside the room.

The next day, John took the clock to hang
it in his house. When he was hanging it, suddenly he found the door knocking.
He thought that little Jackson, his neighbor’s son, was playing with the door
bell. He caught him and said, “Don’t play with the door bell again.” So Jackson said, “I wasn’t
playing, I knew that you brought a new clock and I want to see the clock
please?” John said, “How did you know that?” Jackson answered, “I saw you holding it into
your house.”
The Heat of Challenge
A month later, Peter and a teacher came to John for
another challenge. Peter said, “Hello, here is a new challenger for you and the
challenge is to make the faster and prettier car!” John accepted the challenge
under the same condition. After college, they started buying the things they
need for the car challenge.

The next day, John and the teacher
started working on the cars. John started with the design: he put flames on the
front, rear and on the two sides of the car. The teacher started with the
motor: he went to the mechanic to make to make the car faster and faster.
The next day, John went to a mechanic.
John asked, “Could we make the engine faster and put the engine at the back?”
The mechanic answered, “We will try.” John asked, “Should we take off the
design?” The mechanic said, “No, only should make small circles for the extra
engine.” “Yes!” said John.

An hour later, John wanted to test the
car. They rented a race track. The car can run 100 KM in 30 minutes. The
teacher ran with his car the 100 KM took 31 minutes. The two challengers went
to the government to know which car is prettier. When they were with the
government, the teacher told the story to the government. The government sat
thinking and thinking.
After a while, they decided to vote. One
minute later, he teacher read the results, “The results are…1 for me…3 for
John.” John jumped high. He called Peter to tell him the results. So peter
said, “Maybe you won again, but I still have hope to win you.
The journalists saw John going out of the
government center building. So, they went in to ask the government about what
happened. The government told the story to the journalists, and every one asks
a question.
The next day, John was reading the
newspaper. When he finished the article about him the bell rang. When he opened
the door John got scared. He saw a huge number of people that John almost
fainted.
The Taste of Fame
They were a huge number of car fans that liked the
design and speed of his car. Suddenly, John shouted, “Stop! No questions till
tomorrow and stand in a strait line next time, Okay?” Ten seconds later they
disappeared. John called Peter about this. Ten minutes later Peter was in
John’s home. They sat thinking what to do the rest of the day.
The next day, John went to the park and
made a stand. The people came after him. Cars were every where. After fifteen
minutes you could not find a place to park.
One hour later, John was that he is
famous. Now he can be a millionaire and travel around the world to see ancient
things. That he went to sleep early so he can get up early and ride his car in
the city.
The next day, he took a ride with Peter
around the city to explore. Where ever John goes the crowd follows him. John
goes to any place he wants. Peter made conservation with John about being
famous. Peter started saying, “Is fame wonderful?” “Yes, but like anything it
has negatives and positives.” “Which one is less?” “I don’t know because I have
been famous for a short time.” “I wish I could try it.” “You will, Peter, you
will.” said John.
The next day, John went to the beach. He
sat under the sun for sometime. Then, he went to splash in water with Peter. He
had all the fun he wanted. John felt nervous for being famous, but Peter
encouraged him.
Suddenly, John remembered that he didn’t
see his parents for about a year. When he was in his old home, his mother went
so fast to hug him and said, “I miss you give me hug!” After that, John sat
with his father talking about his invention. Then John let his father ride the
car.
The next day, John went back from vacation
to college. He missed his teachers, challengers, challenges, quizzes and
friends. Everyone brought gifts, but John brought the most expensive gifts.
The next day, Peter asked John, “When is
the next quiz? I want to challenge you an English one.” John said, “After one
hour, so what is the challenge?” “I will give you six letters; you should find
ten words from them: one of these words contains all the letters.” John
accepted the challenge with same condition.
After explanation, they met and went to an
empty class. Peter wrote the letters on the board. John started saying words
and words. After 30 minutes, John said about sixty words. Suddenly, John
stopped and said, “Hey, I won, I won…!” Peter replied, “You are genius.”
The next day, John got a certificate of
being the college’s genius! John met the principle in front of all students!
After that, the principle made an interview with John. John was very nervous
then; he is famous in and out of the college.
John thought about the journalists that
chased him. Then he thought about people so he brought security, but he didn’t
know what to do for journalists.
The next day, it went smoothly until he
was going out. The security was around him so there wasn’t a fight. The fans in
a line they were happy, but still they wanted to ride the car. Everyone asked
if he can ride, but John disagreed.
The Miss of Old Life
A month later, John felt that there is something wrong. He told Peter
about this so, Peter said, “You should g to a doctor.” John replied, “Which
doctor? I am not sick.” Peter replied again, “Maybe you have some psychiatry
problems?”

The next day, John and Peter went all
over the hospitals in the city. The last hospital was a little empty so they
went in. The nurse said, “Are you famous…… John... John! The maker of the
fastest car!” John said, “Yes, that is me standing in front of you. How do you
know my name is?” “It is written on the paper you gave to me” The doctor
answered… Then, John went outside of the hospital. When they were in John’s
house Peter saw John thinking of something. After a while, John said, “Maybe
the doctor is right, I miss my home in the town.” Peter replied, “Being famous
can be bad sometimes, but you still enjoy your time aren’t you?” John answered,
“No, no, no, no, not at all. I feel like I am in jail, but I liked being famous
the first then I knew that it is bad.”
The next day, they went to the college,
any place in the college the oldest places, but still John didn’t get any
better. Then they went to his school. John saw his old classes, old teachers,
pictures, and the old trophies the school got. Even that John still didn’t get
any better. They went back where they started (John’s house). They sat confused
of what to do for John till the end of the day.
The next day, John called Peter and said,
“I think…”Peter interrupted, “I get scared when you say I think!” John replied,
“Forget about it. Maybe I will get better if I visited my parents or at least
just see the land I was born in.” Peter said, “Okay, let’s start tomorrow.”
John replied, “What are you going to do the rest of the day?” Peter answered,
“We will study for the quiz after tomorrow because we are busy tomorrow!”
After two hours of studying, John said,
“Wow, I like it. Let’s complete studying till night!” Peter whispered to
himself, “I wish I didn’t give John this idea.” John said, “Did you say
anything?” Peter said, “No” (in body language). When it was night Peter slept
on the book at 12o’clock John couldn’t take it he wants to sleep. 3 seconds
later, both were sleeping.
The next day, John wakes up and wakens
Peter to call John’s parents who are coming today. They ate breakfast in the
car.
They were talking about the childhood of
John. Then John’s mom went to make cookies, mean time John showed the car.
Showed one of the biggest fans of cars, his father. When they finished a ride
in the car, John’s mother called for them to eat the cookies. John and Peter
went home in the city at about midnight.
Falling in Nightmares
A month later,
John said hello to Peter, but Peter didn’t reply. John started asking other
friends, but the only thing they do is push him. He started running out of the
college, but his friends said, “Scary cat…!” John went to his house and saw the
fastest car, but he couldn’t find the magazine. So he sat thinking why these
things happened. Till it was 12o’clock so he went to sleep.
The next day, Peter went to John and
said, “You aren’t genius, you are a failure boy so bye, bye for ever!” John
replied, “But you are my best friend.” Peter said, “Even though I am not your friend
I repeat only a friend for genius O.K.?” John went crying about loosing a best
friend easily.
After one hour of crying, the bell rang
for a new class. In the class, John tried to show Peter that he is a genius,
but the teacher didn’t choose him. After the class, John asked the teacher
about why she doesn’t choose him. Then the teacher said, “To detention.” So he
went to the principal. He slammed the door open. Before he says any word the
principal said, “Again, now you should go to detention for two weeks!” John
replied, “But…but…”So the principal said, “No buts O.K.? So go out.” John
replied, “Okay, look what you are doing.”
After detention, John went to Peter’s
house. Peter’s mom asked, “If you are John, go away because Peter doesn’t want
to see you.” John went and called Peter. Peter said, “You don’t understand, I
am not your friend, O.K., don’t you understand?” “No, No, I understand good…
Bye… For …Ever.” John closed the phone sadly and went to sleep.
The next day, John was putting in books in
the locker. Peter came and hit him. John said, “What do you want you are not my
friend, because you say you aren’t my friend so g…o…o…d bye.” John went to the
nearest teacher and told him the story, she said, “Better, or you want one of
the best to be punished?” John answered, “No thanks.”
After Chemistry class, Peter came to John
and gave him something and said, “Add on it water.” John added water. After 10
seconds, the chemical exploded, but John hid under the desk so it exploded on
Peter. Peter got mad so he told the teacher and John was in detention for the
third week!
After school, John went home walking
alone. Suddenly, he got hit. John looked it was Peter and a group of bullies.
Peter commanded them saying, “Okay, boys you know what to do”. The bullies came
to him so John went under them and ran a way. Peter shouted, “Get him, run,
run!” John ran till his house and locked the door. Then the bullies left him
and went.
The next day, he saw the bullies running
after him. So, he ran to the police. The police saw the bullies running after
John, but he left them and didn’t do anything. Suddenly, he found a wall blocking the way. So he
climbed and ran away.
Next day he went by his car but Peter was
absent so John called him. Peter closed the phone. John got sad, but he went to
sleep.”
Real Live is Better
than Dreams
Suddenly, John woke up on a cow’s sound. He washed his
face, wore new cloth. He mad ea healthy breakfast, because he is going to work
in the farm. John was sad, because he woke up from a good dream at first, but
he is happy, because he woke up from a nightmare. John sat on the table and ate
his breakfast. After that, he went out. So, he found workers taking stones from
a near quarry. John found trucks, cement makers, workers, and engineers. John
was happy because maybe an engineer will live next to him, but he is worried if
a farmer is going to be next to him.
A couple of weeks later, the house
finished and is ready to be lived in. One by one the workers started to go to
the city center till there wasn’t anybody near the house.
The next day, the owner came with a truck
full of cartoons and bags. The owner designed the house for a party. He invited
everybody he knows for a party in the next day.

The next day, John was eating breakfast
he heard the bell ringing so he opened the door, it was his neighbor. The
neighbor said, “Hello, I am your new neighbor. My name is Joe, what is yours?”
John smiled and said, “My name is John come on in.” Joe replied, “No, thanks I
just wanted to invite you to my party tonight, good bye see you tonight.”
That night, John went to Joe’s party. He
wore cool cloth. He found everybody there. John had a nice time in the party.
The party early, because everybody had work in the morning.
The next day, John was working in the
farm to take the food in the barn waiting for fall to come. When John was
putting food in barrels, Joe saw John and asked him, “Could I come to your
house tonight so we talk together?” John asked, “Why?!” Joe answered, “Because
I want to know more about you.”
That night, Joe went to John’s house.
They discussed about John. Joe stared because loneliness makes a strong man
like John.
Dreams Become True
The next day, Joe went to bring John to his home. When
they discussed about work Joe said that he is an engineer. When he said like
this, John told him everything. Joe said, “So you want something new, so let’s
start tomorrow!”
The next day, they went to the city to bring a motor.
They went around stores they found a store had an offer called, “Buy a motor
and get a free structure as you want.” They went inside.
After several hours, they went outside with a good
motor and a well designed structure for the motorcycle.
The next day, was hard to find good wheels. The asked
somebody to tell them the place. They bought the tires for half each. It was
hard to believe, but they collected everything.
The next day, they were very confused there was no
book for help. So they left it.
The next day, John and Joe went all over libraries,
but they didn’t find the right book till the last library till they found the
right book.
The next day, they started building the motorcycle it
was hard, but fun. They started to measure the things together (putting things
together to see if they fit).
The next day they finished the motorcycle, but they
didn’t know how to make it work. So they thought that it needs electrical
current. They tried everything, but it didn’t work, till they found the keys
next to the engine. It was midnight so they went to sleep.
The next day, they took the keys and looked for the
hole of the key. When they finished, John trained on the motorcycle. Meanwhile,
Joe thought, “Let’s make a party because we have a new motorcycle.”
The Event’s Party
That night, each of them called his friends for a party next night.
Everybody wondered why this party is made while John was very proud of himself.
The next day, John cleaned his house and put
everything in place. Joe came with sprays and asked John, “Could we make a picture
of flame on the motorcycle?” “Yes, it will be wonderful!”
That night, everybody came and they made a loud sound
and John let them ride the motorcycle. It was the best party John ever saw.
After the party, John went to Joe and told him,
"It was the best party, but real life could be better than dreams!!”
